Get Your DVR Ready

The fall is a great time of the year.  In some parts of the world the leaves change color and it starts to the temperature starts to dip.  Well none of this really happens in the great state of  Florida.  However, the fall season also means to a lot to most people.  It is time for another great tv lineup.  I am looking forward to a couple of shows to debut their new season.  The first is Heroes and the other is Dexter.

Redemption seems to be the theme of Heroes 4th season.  Last season was all about the evil Villains. For those that are not familiar with the show, you definitely need to Netflix it.  The show is all about people with special powers.  These gifted individuals try to live their lives to the best of their ability.  However there are those with powers that wish to abuse them.  Heroes is basically the X-men on television.  I enjoy the constant plot twists and story development.  The writers of Heroes certainly know how to make you beg for more.  I often find myself wanting to punch my television just for the opportunity to see what happens next week.  So if you are a Heroes faithful don’t forget there is a special 2 hour premiere on Monday September 21st at 8 p.m. est. on NBC.  Check out the trailer for this season!

The other premiere I cannot wait for is Dexter.  The main character, Dexter Morgan, is a blood analyst for the Miami Police Department.  However when night falls he transforms into a serial killer.  Dexter searches out criminals that are clearly guilty but walk free because of our flawed legal system.  Throughout the show you follow Dexter and his attempts at living a double life.  The show mixes humor and suspense really well.  At times you find yourself laughing and others you are trying to contain your heart from beating out your chest.  Season 4 has Dexter torn between family life and his quest for justice.  If that wasn’t enough, Dexter faces a worthy adversary in the “Trinity Killer”.  Be prepared for the rollercoaster ride that is Dexter when season 4 premieres on September 27th at 9 p.m. est. on Showtime.  If you cannot wait until then well watch the trailer over and over again until the premiere.

Until next time!!
