Weight Loss Report Vol. 2

Well quite some time has passed since my last update.  I do apologize for that.  I also would like to thank my good friend The Knight Angel for the proverbial kick in the ass.

So for all my loyal readers out there, I appreciate the continued support.  I have been moderately active with my weightlifting routine.  Now I certainly need to step it up a bit because the weight loss contest that is going on at the office ends on October 9th.  I have a remote shot at winning.  But anyways, the way time keeps moving I cannot afford to get lazy.

On a positive note, my eating habits have certainly changed drastically.  I have been eating oatmeal almost every morning for breakfast.  In addition to eating better, I have made an effort to drink more water.  So while I may be slacking on the work outs, I make up for it with my eating habits.  Now if I can stop being such a jackass and combine the two, I would be in great shape (literally).

So by now I am sure you are just chomping at the bit to find out what I am tipping the scales at.  Well the last time I stepped on the scale I weighed in at 263 fully clothed and 261 in my boxers.  Usually I would get discouraged by the fact that I have lost only 4-6 pounds.  The one saving grace is that people are starting to take notice that I am losing weight.  I have also noticed that most of my pants are starting to feel looser around the waist.  So I thank you all for the compliments and I need to channel this and use it as motivation.

I want to apologize to my readers for my failure to update you all.  For next time please do not hesitate to send me facebook messages, tweets, or emails telling me to get off my lazy black ass.  So until next time, lets hope that I can dip into the 250′s.

Oh one last note please become a Facebook fan if you haven’t already.  It is simple as clicking the Facebook badge.

Weight Loss Report Vol 1.

So many people have asked how the whole weight loss challenge is going.  My response to that would be is that I have pretty much maintained the same weight.  For the last past week, I have managed to work out twice in the first week and three times in the second.    Thanks to some friendly advice, I have incorporated circuit training into my workouts.  Now even though I have maintained the same weight, I feel a little bit different.  It is still fairly early and I have a long ways to go.  But I think I have overcome the biggest obstacle and that was actually getting off my lazy ass to work out.  If I continue to work at this and get my confidence up more, I will be alright.  I think for next report I would like to have lost at least 4 lbs.  It is going to take some effort but I can already see that I have the support of my fans.  Also some people at work have decided to start another interoffice weight loss challenge. I definitely need to push myself because it is already August.  So for the next few months please continue to show your support for me as I press on to achieve my goals.  Thanks for your continued support and please stay tuned for volume 2 coming to you on August 14th.
